Graduated with a Diploma in Valuation from University Technology of Malaysia (UTM) in 1985 and later pursued his study at University of Aberdeen, Scotland and graduated with a Degree in Bachelor of Land Economy in 1988.

Upon graduation, he worked with Jones Lang Wootton, an established international property consultancy firm in the country, as a Valuation Executive until 1994.

He later joined Jurunilai Bersekutu, Kuala Lumpur Headquarters, as a Manager, and promoted to Associate Partner and later to Partner. In June 2003, when the firm was incorporated, he was appointed as the Executive Director of JB Jurunilai Bersekutu Sdn.Bhd. In January 2007, he joined Nilai Harta Consultant Sdn.Bhd. as a shareholder and the Managing Director.

He has a wide experience in valuation & property consultancy conversing housing schemes, high-rise office building, prestigious hotels, shopping complexes, resorts and large plantations, as well as valuations for financial reporting standards. He has been to Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and China conducting valuation and property consultancy works for local corporations.

He is a Registered Valuer and Estate Agent with The Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia since 1993 and a Fellow of The Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (ISM).

He is presently a Vice President of ISM and Chairman of the Property Consultancy and Valuation Services Division. He is a member of The Association of Valuers & Property Consultants, in Private Practice (PEPS) Malaysia, and was a Committee Member of PEPS from 1996 to 2006. He is also a member of the Federation International des Administrators de Biens Conseils et Agents Immobiliers (FIABCI) Malaysian Chapter and a member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, United Kingdoms (RICS).

Graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Estate Management from UiTM/NCUK Twin Programme via Thames Polytechnics, Dartford-Kent, United Kingdom (now known as Greenwich University) in 1991.

He was attached to Jurunilai Bersekutu, Kuala Lumpur, as a Valuation Executive in August 1991. Promoted as Assistant Manager of Desa Pandan Branch in 1994 and later as Branch Manager from September 1997 until March 2000.

In April 2000, he started his own Real Estate firm known as IKIRA Property & IKIRA Real Estate Consultant dealing in Real Estate Agency, Valuation and Consultancy.

With a view to expand and provide better service to clients, he established Nilai Harta Consultant Sdn.Bhd. in November 2001 together with the other directors.

Graduated with a bachelor of business, majoring in Valuation and Land Administration from Western Australia Institute of Technology (now known as Curtin University of Technology) in 1986. During his years in Australia, he had a brief working experience with the valuation firm Henderson's The Property People, Perth, Western Australia.

He first experience of the local property market was with Kumpulan Jurunilai, Kuala Lumpur, as a Valuation Executive and then with Jurunilai Bersekutu in Seremban until October 2001. He was the Branch Manager of Jurunilai Bersekutu, Seremban office since 1988 and worked his way to Associate Partner level before founding Nilai Harta Consultant Sdn.Bhd. His experience in valuation covers a wide spectrum of properties from simple landed properties to agricultural plantations, factories, housing projects and commercial complexes.

Nik Nazariah graduated with Bachelor of Business Studies, majoring in Valuation and Property Management from Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand in 1989. Her first experience of the local property market was with A. Majid & Co., Kuala Lumpur, as a Valuation Officer and then with Ami & Associates, Selangor working her way up to Senior Valuation Executive level before she left in late 2000 to look into other opportunities.

In early 2001, she teamed up with En Saiful Bahri, joining IKIRA Properties & IKIRA Real Estate Consultancy to devote her time as a full time Real Estate Negotiator which allowed flexible working hours thus enabling her to pursue postgraduate studies at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia on part time basis as well as going for her professional registration. She became a Registered Valuer and Estate Agent and Member with Institute of Surveyors Malaysia in 2006 and later obtained her Masters in Land Administration and Development in early 2007. She was appointed as Associate Director with Nilai Harta Consultant Sdn Bhd when the company underwent a major re-structure in January 2007. Her experience covers valuation, estate agency and property research.
